About the Set Up and the idea

The main style is dubtechno, but also dub, drone, ambient, dark and light experimental stuff, not so much danceable, some facets are, but others more relaxing, even meditative because of the hypnotic repeating pattern in it.

DJ and modular sets in a very intimate athmosphere.
A side effect could be: connect people who love this...also who are DJs or do modular by their own ..or producing with DAW..

What is special about it: We do the listening sessions via headphones - as silent sessions.
It means, you dive in each set for 30 min and focus on the music...
Each headphone can be regulated individualy concerning the loudness, what feels best for you.
The pauses inbetween take 20 min for changing the set-ups..and yes, the best thing would be: communicate.. share your thoughts...give feedback to the artists..so it will be a kind of place, where people can get in contact via music...but it's up to you, do what feels good, have a drink, relax ..it could be an event what feels also comfortable to visit alone, knowing no-one. Or just bring some friends and have a nice time before be hooked into Berlin's night life..or go home in a calm mood. So come through! Hope to see you there!

 Dub&Techno infused festival - a thrutopia?!

Supporting the underrated will keep the scene alive in my view.

My idea about a Dub&Techno infused event was:
 
The international network of this community, from whose mids this should emerge, consists of independent musicians, producers, DJs and label owners outside the music mainstream. The attention is almost exclusively online, although there are so many top-notch musicians and artists in this scene! Due to the commercial structures of the music business, they are invisible, undervalued and only appreciated by connoisseurs of this scene who have discovered this musical spectrum for themselves. Probably also because a different kind of listening is necessary, because these pieces of music are quieter and less catchy than those that are played in current club culture.

I really would like to see it happen! 
The "1st generation" who grew up with techno and electronic music is not the only, but a  special target group of "MLD goes live". Many of them are characterized by a high level of musical know-how. Accordingly, the expected audience would be very well informed and demanding, both in terms of the quality of the performances and the sound quality, which allows the music to really unfold its effect. But of course, the younger generations should be introduced to these gengres, too through it - what could be another crucial effect of such kind event. The programm could be surrounded by workshops concerning music production, that would be a dream, to initial creativity. To show this is something available for anybody with the love for electronic music.  Artists and audience will and should mix at such kind of festival. A Dub&Techno infused event should be a place of encounter, shared musical enjoyment and creative inspiration! 

Is there an interest and appreciation for such kind of thing at all? Is that strong enough to support it in a way, it's necessary that it becomes reality? Out of the scene and not through these random event business as usual structures? Maybe such kind of thing is done in these days and it's my old fashion view of someone of the 90ies area (I know, some might roll their eyes now...) 


MLD Compilation 2025 pt. 2


This is the second part of my MLD Compilation 2025 and it contains more tuff, abstract and experimental tunes compared to the first part. That was exactly my aim, to cover a wide and diverse spectrum of dub techno-influenced sounds and I'm very happy that it worked out for me. I am proud to be represented with a track myself also btw..

This is the first part of my MLD Compilation 2025.
It contains some smooth dubs and consistent sounds with much reverbs and delays around the ambient dub techno gengres.

I am so grateful for the incredible response and the huge support of this project from more than 30 artists who contributed to this two part compilation via an open call and made it possible!!
