This is the second part of my MLD Compilation 2025 and it contains more tuff, abstract and experimental tunes compared to the first part. That was exactly my aim, to cover a wide and diverse spectrum of dub techno-influenced sounds and I'm very happy that it worked out for me. I am proud to be represented with a track myself also btw..

I am so grateful for the incredible response and the huge support of this project from more than 30 artists who contributed to this two part compilation via an open call and made it possible!!
Actually, without being named in it. So, as you can see you don’t know which tune is from who. My intention because I did it that way was that the focus is really on the music and not on the images of the different artists. This Compilation is a positive example for supportive and cooperative action at its best, can't say how grateful I am for it! Check out the first part in my discography.

The compilation shall draw some attention to the live event in form of an intimate open air festival called "MLD goes live" what I am on the way to organise and curate for the first time next year in August 2025 near Berlin. Many of the artists in that two part compilation will perform at this event – so I hope to see you all there!

All donations from the compilation will support the festival to make it happen.

The focus of "MLD goes live" is on organizing a anual festival that will focus on the music genres dub, acid dub, electronic, ecperimental, drone, ambient, dubtechno, dubstep, hypnotic pattern  - one could say: examine the facets of dub around the spectrum 80-140 bpm, with much reverb and delay, sometimes darker sometimes lighter. 

The initiator of "MLD goes live" is Kerstin Saidykhan a.k.a. Sai, who has been running the online platform "Moments of Light & Darkness" (MLD) on SoundCloud as a curator since 2021, on which she presents herself and other artists in the form of DJ mixes.
There is the idea of founding a regular niche festival for only a few hundred participants..what shall attract people who feel drawn and related to these gengres. Maybe also for those who came into that age now to say festivals in these days are too stressy for me..but never too old to listen to atmospheric sets..
Another aspect is, that MLD goes live wants to think out of narrow boxes like music has to be "danceable" on a festival...it's more about the "Spannungsbogen" what can be created - the suspension of a line-up!
Probably also because a different kind of listening is necessary to take the time to absorb these continuous hypnotic loops that are often typical of this type of music - and are in complete contrast to the short video clips how music is presented and promoted on Tik Tok, for example.

This means: there is no interest in a 24-hour festival marathon, where everything happen at the same time.. Let's create an alternative experience without encouraging people to go beyond their natural limits ... It's time  to find other qualities that are urgently needed in these times. And "MLD goes live" wants to make its contribution.
