MLD goes live ist ein intimes Festival rund um Dub, Dubtechno, Ambient, Drone und experimentelle elektronische Musik. Es findet in Premnitz an der Havel statt, einer kleinen Stadt zwischen Brandenburg an der Havel und Rathenow, 80 km von Berlin entfernt und direkt mit dem Zug erreichbar (Bahnhof Premnitz Zentrum). Die Kapazität beträgt 400 Personen, was die Veranstaltung sehr persönlich und familiär macht. MLD steht für „Moments Of Light 'n Darkness“ und bezieht sich auf Sais Podcast-Serie auf SoundCloud. Es gibt einen Vorgeschmack auf die Genrevielfalt der Künstler, ohne sich jedoch zu sehr darauf festzulegen. Darüber bleiben wir im Unklaren…
Das internationale Netzwerk dieser Community, aus deren Mitte dieses jährliche Festival entstehen soll, besteht aus unabhängigen Musikern, Produzenten, DJs und Labelbesitzern abseits des Musik-Mainstreams. Die Aufmerksamkeit konzentriert sich fast ausschließlich auf das Internet, obwohl es in dieser Szene so viele hochkarätige Musiker und Künstler gibt! Aufgrund der kommerziellen Strukturen des Musikgeschäfts sind sie unsichtbar und unterbewertet. Wohl auch, weil ein anderes Hören notwendig ist, denn diese Musikstücke sind leiser und zurückhaltender als die der aktuellen Clubkultur.
Dieses exklusive Event findet in einer Kleinstadt in Brandenburg statt, abseits urbaner Strukturen. Im „Wilden Osten“ findet man noch die nötigen Räume, um kreativen Freiraum zu schaffen.
Die „1. Generation“, die mit Techno und elektronischer Musik aufgewachsen ist, ist die besondere Zielgruppe von „MLD goes live“. Viele von ihnen zeichnen sich durch ein hohes musikalisches Know-how aus. Dementsprechend wird das erwartete Publikum sehr informiert und anspruchsvoll sein. Künstler und Publikum werden und sollen sich auf diesem Festival vermischen. „MLD goes live“ soll ein Ort der Begegnung, der Schaffung von Synergien und der kreativen Inspiration sein! Seien Sie dabei und helfen Sie mit, dieses Event zum Leben zu erwecken! Es wird tiefgreifend sein!

About the event:

MLD goes live is an intimate festival all about dub, dubtechno, ambient, drone and experimental electronic music. It takes place in Premnitz an der Havel, a small town between Brandenburg an der Havel and Rathenow, 80 km from Berlin, directly accessible by train (train station is “Premnitz Zentrum”) The capacity of the event is 400, so it's really personal and family-like. MLD stands for “Moments Of Light 'n Darkness”, referring to Sai's podcast series on Soundcloud and gives an indication of the range of genres the artists will present, without committing too much to it. We remain foggy about that...

The international network of this community, from whose midst this annual festival is to emerge, consists of independent musicians, producers, DJs and label owners outside the music mainstream. The attention is almost exclusively online, even though there are so many top-class musicians and artists in this scene! Due to the commercial structures of the music business, they are invisible and undervalued. Probably also because a different way of listening is necessary, because these pieces of music are quieter and more reserved than those played in current club culture.

This exclusive event takes place in a small town in Brandenburg, away from urban structures. In the "Wild East" you can still find the spaces needed to create creative space.

The "1st generation", who grew up with techno and electronic music, is the special target group of "MLD goes live". Many of them are characterized by a high level of musical know-how. Accordingly, the expected audience will be very informed and demanding. Artists and audience will and should mix at this festival. Open call for participation in a compilation for “MLD goes live” – an event around facets of Dub near Berlin what is in process to be built once a year in Summer. Deadline to send tracks for the compilation is until end of October 2024. Condition:  your track should not be released somewhere else. (pls send it to: [email protected])
This compilation shall contain tracks in the spectrum dub - electronic - ambient - experimental from 80 to 140 bpm. 
The tracks I find best will be released digitally  and will be available for purchase through a crowdfunder, which will help pay the artists and helpers fairly.
Important: The artist names in that compilation are hidden, only the track names will be shown!
So sharpen your signature sound or build a new one and send me something!
And if you are a well-known in your scene and think this project is worth to be supported and want to take a subtle mentorship you welcome…so sent a track !  
It's about sound, it's about bass, it's about creativity and emotional expression.
